Ein Nodau

Gofal plant o ansawdd

Rwy'n credu bod plant yn ffynnu mewn amgylchedd sy'n gwerthfawrogi eu natur unigryw, tra'n darparu cefnogaeth a chyfleoedd i dyfu yn emosiynol, yn gymdeithasol ac yn greadigol. Quality Childcare

I believe that children thrive in an environment which values their own uniqueness, while providing support and opportunities to grow emotionally, socially and creatively. By building on each child’s strengths, interests and curiosities, we guide each child to explore the world around them as well as develop new abilities and form close relationships.

My little boy loves coming to Kate’s for his childcare. A spare set of clothes is essential as the children are often outdoors getting muddy and wet, exploring, learning and having adventures. Phoenix has made cakes, played out in the snow and has started using welsh language too! If your child loves being outdoors and exploring then Kate is definitely the best choice of childcare services.

I am really happy that Delyth spends a lot of time outdoors when she is in your care, as I feel it's important for her to get to know nature in her early years, before anything else. Coming from a city I think it's invaluable to be able to spend time playing outside and in the fresh air, and toughening up her immune system. As she is growing up on a small holding, her surroundings with you really are a "home from home" and I think she feels relaxed and comfortable.

Any activities that can be done outside and are suitable for young children I think are beneficial at this stage in her development, especially messy play, "forest school" type activities,  as well as physical activity such as walks, playing on swings, paddling pools and sand pits, mud kitchens etc.

Local, Welsh childcare is incredibly important. Delyth will be going to a Welsh school and not having Welsh speaking parents means that she could be at a disadvantage when she starts school. Knowing that she is being spoken to in Welsh while under your care and supervision is one of the main reasons we chose you for our childcare needs. We feel that she is at an age where she will be picking up the language spoken to, and around, her and it will hopefully give her an advantage when she starts school. Having someone local, while still being in a very rural part of Wales is very important to us.

Our four-year-old son came home from Kate’s the other day, his trousers covered in mud and my husband said ‘That’s what a kid’s trousers should look like at the end of the day’! There’s nothing quite like a good dose of outdoor imaginative play to boost your child’s health and fitness. The many benefits of being outdoors we believe, include ample space to run around, playing in streams and feeling lots of different natural textures, learning about plants and trees, animal contact and looking for creepy crawlies, hearing the birds sing, falling over and picking yourself up, camping and cycling and lastly for now, not being afraid of the good old Welsh weather. On the Welsh note too, we are so fortunate to have not only a keen outdoor childminder on our doorstep but a much sought-after Welsh speaking one at that, and who picks our kids up from school. We as parents wouldn’t have it any other way.

Mae'n hanfodol bwysig fod plant yn  mwynhau gweithgareddau awyr agored er mwyn hybu a datblygu sgiliau newydd megis cyfathrebu, i ddod yn blentyn mwy hydreus yn ogystal a'r manteision iechyd.

Gan nad oes unrhyw gyfleusterau gofal plant ychwanegol megis Meithrin Mwy ar gyfer oedran meithrin, mae gofal plant Kate yn hanfodol. Hi yw'r unig ofalwraig Cymraeg yn y dalgylch sy'n cynnig nol y plant o Ysgol Llannefydd. Mae'n bwysig dros ben fod Kate yn ofalwraig Cymraeg oherwydd fod Wil yn teimlo'n fwy cyfforddus yn siarad yn ei fam iaith. Oherwydd ei fod mor fach gall fynegi ei hun yn well yn Gymraeg ac felly yn hapusach yn ei amgylchedd.

Outdoor activity of any kind is a wonderful way of developing and nurturing young minds. I am very happy that this is offered and encouraged by Kate. My daughters return from Kate’s enthusing about their activities for the day which includes a lot of outdoor activity including walking, balance bikes and wet play. My young daughter has benefited enormously and is confident playing safely outside and enjoys exploring wildlife.

Activities such as wildlife trails, dirty and wet play is especially fun. Collecting eggs from the chicken hut is a favourite!

Local, Welsh speaking childcare is very important to us as a rural Welsh family. The children feel comfortable, secure and happy in an environment that reflects their home environment. As a parent all I can wish for are happy healthy children and this is provided for by Kate.
